JOB TITLE: Senior HR Generalist/Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Have you balanced meeting business expectations, carrying out HR responsibilities and caring for people as individuals? 

As an Senior HR Generalist/Manager, you will: 

  • Recruit awesome team members aligned with company mission and values 
  • Onboard and coach team members in alignment with policies and practices 
  • Oversee, resolve and manage employee relations and employment related concerns 
  • Partner with and coach team leaders and managers on interpretation and administration of Human Resources and business policies, resolving employee relations and employment related issues to achieve organization goals  
  • Manage HR policies and programs including adherence to internal policies, ensuring HR laws and regulations are followed and create and update SOPs, 
  • Administer benefit programs 
  • Pay employees utilizing Paycor 
  • Coordinate and provide training 
  • Work with team members to help them see the possibilities and help them achieve them 
  • Understand the manufacturing process and expectations 
  • Keep lots of balls in the air, meet deadlines and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to maintain efficient and effective services

Skills/Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related 
  • Demonstrated HR experience as a generalist for minimum of five years 
  • Prefer PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR or SHRM-SCP 
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in recruiting entry level team members as well as technical and professional team member 
  • Demonstrated ability to administer benefit plans including 401k 
  • Experience administering FMLA, Cobra, Unemployment and other HR programs 
  • Experience with processing payroll 
  • Proven reliability, doing what you say you will do in a timely manner 
  • Organized and detail-oriented individual who values open and honest conversation 
  • Good coaching skills 
  • Demonstrated project management 
  • Solid knowledge of and understanding of HR laws and regulations(federal, state and local) 
  • Is always learning and growing 
  • Has knowledge of effective communication and learning concepts 
  • Desires to be something larger than themselves 
  • Works hard and likes to have fun while getting things done
